Role and responsibilities

In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for delivering critical financial insights and driving operational excellence across ASML’s R&D and supporting functions departments. Your scope will also include full ownership of OPEX and FTE analytics, as well as relevant P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow elements.

  • Deliver accurate, actionable financial insights and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

  • Align and integrate financial planning and control processes across global finance teams.

  • Drive a unified approach to ASML’s OPEX and FTE planning.

  • Own and evolve the Delegation of Authority Policy, ensuring robust governance across approval flows.

  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives aligned with ASML’s strategy.

  • Serve as Chief of Staff to the BI&C leadership team—ensuring strategic alignment, coordinating executive activities, and driving cross-functional initiatives to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

Education and Experience

  • Extensive experience in finance (typically 18+ years), including senior management roles.

  • Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams.

  • Demonstrated success in driving improvement projects within a finance environment.

  • Strong ability to translate complex financial data into strategic business insights.

Skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and storytelling capabilities.

  • Deep understanding of financial operations, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.

  • Able to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.

  • Curious, fast learner with a collaborative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with high visibility and impact.

Other information
