Use your technical expertise to directly support ASML’s machines and collaborate with a key player in the semiconductor field. As a field service engineer, you’ll ensure that our cutting-edge systems perform optimally at our customers’ facilities. Role and responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and troubleshooting ASML’s advanced equipment to ensure continuous uptime and efficiency. You’ll be joining our Customer Support (CS) department, specifically within a team focused on maintaining a wide variety of our systems. You’ll do so by collaborating on-site at one of our leading research and innovation partners in nanoelectronics and digital technologies. You’ll be part of a team that thrives on collaboration, bringing together professionals with varied backgrounds and expertise to deliver world-class support and solving technical challenges in real time.
As a field service engineer, you’ll:
- Gather essential insights, assess complex situations and implement creative solutions guided by a supportive and experienced team
- Perform both preventative maintenance as well as solution actions to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
- Coordinate and secure resources to ensure all tools and materials are readily available when needed
- Document and report technical activities to ensure effectiveness and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Follow a tailored program and collaborate with various colleagues to enhance your skills and knowledge
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferably (but not exclusively) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, automotive, electronics, physics, mechatronics
- Ability to read engineering specifications and sketches.
- Experience in logistics software: Oracle, SAP preferred.

Shifts
This position may require mandatory shift-based working schedules including weekend/nights support – in which case applicable shift allowances and overtime allowances apply.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
