Introduction to the job

As a Finance business process expert, you help shape the next generation of ASML’s finance processes. You will contribute directly to ASML’s mission by designing scalable, automated and future-proof service accounting flows that support global growth. In this role, you  will work on the foundation  in SAP S/4HANA and the finance data model, ensuring our systems and processes keep pace with ASML’s fast-expanding business.

Role and responsibilities

As a Finance business process expert, you act as the hands-on specialist who defines, builds and improves finance processes with a strong focus on service accounting. You take ownership, lead decisions and collaborate closely with finance, IT and architecture teams to ensure successful transformation.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Design and build end-to-end finance processes for SAP S/4HANA, with a strong focus on service accounting.

  • Drive improvements in performance management using best practices in processes, data structures and technology.

  • Work with finance teams, business process owners and  business and IT architects to translate business needs into system designs.

  • Lead and support adoption of new processes by explaining, testing and validating solutions with end users.

  • Embed internal controls in process designs and support automation initiatives.

  • Ensure alignment between finance processes, master data and the finance data model.

  • Contribute expert knowledge during ERP migration activities and help shape future standards.

Education and experience

You bring a strong background in finance operations, service accounting and SAP-based process design.

You have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.

  • 8–10 years of experience in finance process design, service accounting or financial operations.

  • Deep knowledge of SAP finance solutions (SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA).

  • Experience with complex business processes, preferably in the service order flows, contracts and billing domain.

  • Familiarity with automation tools such as RPA.

  • Experience with ERP migrations and finance transformation initiatives.

  • Knowledge of SAP revenue accounting (RAR) is a plus.

Other information

You will join the Transformation & Digital Finance department and report to the Team Lead Business Process Experts. This position is based in Veldhoven and may require limited travel.
