Introduction to the job
Work as regional product management manager and collaborate with account sales manager locally to setup and execute new product penetration strategy. Lead and coach RPM team member on new product technical engagement project for inspection and metrology new tool adoption at customer R&D and High Volume Manufacturing. Take the end to end full responsibility for the success of technical engagement
Role and responsibilities
- Accumulate knowledge supported by a worldwide applications & HMI headquarters’ network, combined with analytical skills to analyze and identify opportunities for HMI systems optimizations towards improving customer’s on-product performance.
- Leverage powers of investigation and communication, driven by a determination to never give up, you’ll enhance/improve HMI eBeam products utilization
- Work in close collaboration with the customer, and connect to the introduction of a new technology node for high volume manufacturing.
- Propose application product improvements to cover a wide variety of solutions concerning process root cause analysis, recipe set-up and usage, choices in process control strategies, inspection/metrology and design as well optimization.
- Grow into a role where you can represent ASML/HMI Applications as an expert in the field and get recognition of this by the customer.
- Work closely with customers and sensitive customer data, a high level of integrity is required for securing confidentiality, while at the same time being able to translate customer issues into problem statements for ASML/HMI.
- Lead Korea Samsung Applications Engineering team currently based in 2 locations in Korea ( (Hwaseong, Giheung and Pyeongtaek)
- Collaborate with CT, BDM, Marketing and Field Service teams to provide value to the customer
- Setup recipes on the e-Beam inspection tools at customer site if required
- Support product evaluations, joint development work and customer demos
- Participate in competitive analysis assessments as required
- Lead customer meetings and define customer technical requirements, through deep analysis and clear understanding
- Technically leads difficult, complex application activities and team
- Travel of approximately >30% KR domestic and overseas
Education and experience
• Above BS degree in Physical Sciences, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mathematics etc.
• More than 15 years of working experiences in semiconductor industry related field
• Engineering experience on defect inspection and metrology is preferred
• Experience of project management and marketing strategy setup and execution
• Experience in experiences leading and motivating the team to achieve performance goals
Skills
eBeam inspection or Semiconductor process knowledge.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
