Development & Engineering (D&E) is the largest sector in the ASML organization with approximately 10,000 employees. Engineers have a range of backgrounds including physics, electronics, mechatronics, software, mechanics, data analytics and more. The MPC department is part of the Development & Engineering cluster and has a lot of visibility at our customer. The vision of this department is to exceed customer expectations by delivering perfect patterning characterization solutions. MPC meets innovations in optics, artificial intelligence and software in a safe and inspiring environment where people flourish. All of this enables energy efficient chips for a sustainable future.

Role and responsibilities
As a HR Business Partner you work closely together with employees and management and provide them with solid advice and feedback on HR topics, in line with our key activities:

  • Work strategically with business leaders to identify and deploy strategic workforce (planning) and talent focused solutions to key business challenges

  • Advise the business on people and organizational (design) issues that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the business

  • Act as a strategic partner in complex organizational transformations and support leaders in navigating change.

  • Contribute actively to growth and development of people leaders to execute against organizational talent needs

  • Advise and facilitate in the field of team- and organizational performance and design as well as in change management

  • Drive HR people plan, deploy HR policies and help the business to run the HR operations

  • Advocate the organizational values and coach leaders and employees on the right behaviors. Act as a role model

  • Partner with leadership to promote an inclusive workplace and drive Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

  • Leverage HR analytics to provide insights on workforce trends, hiring, attrition and performance to drive data-driven decision making.

Education and experience

  • You have obtained a bachelor's or master's Degree for example in the field of HRM or organizational/business studies

  • You have 8+ years of experience in the field of HR and have proven yourself as a partner to the business (HR Line Experience)

  • Experience in complex, international corporate environments

  • You bring knowledge in the field of People Performance Management, Talent & Succession Management, Recruitment and operational expertise as well as strong knowledge of Dutch labor legislation.

  • Affinity with People development and experience with transformation and organizational change are a pre

Skills

  • Speaking English fluently is a must

  • Strong ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity in a rapidly evolving business environment

  • Excellent international communicator, convincing and emphatic

  • Customer oriented (providing swift, efficient and personal guidance to employees and managers)

  • Well-developed analytical skills in combination with a very pragmatic and result-driven approach

The sector Human Resource & Organization (HR&O) is responsible for the development and implementation of all activities concerning HR&O Resources, Compensation & Benefits, Organizational Development, Development & Learning and Information and Process Control. The sector employs about 650 employees, with a team in Europe, the US and Asia.


This challenging position is part of the MPC HR team and you will report to the HR Lead of this team. The office location is in Veldhoven. This is a full-time position (40 hours).
