Building on past achievements, the Chief Data Office (CDO) aims to support and enable the organization to leverage data's value, contributing to ASML’s cost-efficient and sustainable growth.

The Data Quality Lead role, reporting to the Head of CDO Data Management, will tackle cross-sector business challenges and collaborate with Data Analytics and Platforms teams.

Role and responsibilities

In the position of Data Quality Lead at ASML, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of critical data through the design and maintenance of robust data frameworks. You will collaborate with other data management functions, such as governance and master data management, to enhance and validate data quality controls. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing data quality standards and policies.
  • Implementing advanced data quality technologies to improve data assets.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues and solutions.
  • Monitoring data quality metrics and KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Implementing corrective measures to maintain data integrity.
  • Lead and develop the data quality team.

Education and experience

We are looking for a strategic leader with excellent analytical skills to improve data quality. You should be able to align data quality practices with ASML’s objectives and develop a mature, data-driven approach for our organization. Qualifications include:

  • You have 10+ years’ work experience in a data management related roles
  • You hold a Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to make impactful decisions while driving the execution of the CDO’s Data Strategy.
  • A strong understanding of business needs and the ability to align data quality initiatives with organizational goals.
  • A focus on building relationships and fostering collaboration across teams and departments.
  • Exceptional communication abilities to navigate complex situations and effectively manage multiple stakeholders and tasks simultaneously.

Other information

This position involves collaborating with the entire CDO team and engaging with stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

The CDO combined internal and external workforce spans a direct global team that serves across ASML. Our data enabling services include data management and governance, data and analytics platforms, data analytics delivery and AI services enablement, all to serve transversally to empower higher levels of data maturity at the ASML ecosystem, in strong partnership with the organization.
