Introduction

Within our Cloud Center of Excellence we are looking for a Product Owner who will further build and exploit the Google Cloud Platform for our business usage.

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with the scrum team to deliver items that create the most value for ASML. As part of the Cloud Center of Excellence within IT, the team's vision is to provide a flexible and reliable automated cloud platform to enable accelerated and sustainable adoption of cloud across ASML. This maximizes the ability to realize its benefits while reducing risks, supporting ASML's growth, and bringing innovative cloud solutions to the teams.

The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the business value of the product for ASML and the customer, as well as the work of the Scrum Team. Additionally, the Product Owner manages expectations on tactical and operational levels of stakeholders.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-lead a scrum team as the Product Owner, taking end-to-end ownership of team deliverables and the value they bring.

  • Create long-term plans for the platform, including timelines, and align these plans with the scrum team and respective stakeholders.

  • Prepare and prioritize the team backlog for upcoming sprints, communicating and setting priorities to ensure the team understands their importance for ASML.

  • Collaborate with the Scrum Master to drive the team towards desired results, identify improvements, and facilitate the evaluation and acceptance of sprint deliverables.

  • Actively mitigate impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals and challenge the team towards greater efficiency.

  • Keep up with best practices and new trends.
     

Education and Experience

To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on high-tech products and with complex processes. As Product Owner, you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Management, Computer Science, or Electronics.

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent role.

  • Experience with cloud hyperscalers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile frameworks, including their processes and principles.

  • Experience with backlog management, sprint planning, and roadmap creation using Jira or similar project management tools.

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud-based delivery models.

  • Working experience in large, international companies and with global service providers.
