Job Mission 

The AI Infrastructure Engineer in the CDO AI Services is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports AI-driven solutions. You will ensure the infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure, and work closely with software developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with business requirements and goals. 

Roles and responsibilities: 

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust AI platform infrastructure solutions. 

• Ensure the reliability, security, cost minimalization and optimal performance of AI infrastructure. 

• Implement and manage infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. 

• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance including logging, monitoring, and alerting systems. 

• Define and monitor reliability targets for infra deployments. 

• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in AI infrastructure and implement best practices. 

• Advocate for automation to improve infrastructure operations, efficiency, reliability, and scalability. 

Education and experience: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7-10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, preferably with a focus on AI or data platforms on Azure, GCP or Databricks

• Experience with GPU-accelerated compute environments and AI-specific tools like NVIDIA Triton, Kubeflow, or MLFlow.

• Expert in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Expert in containerization- and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).  

Other information 

The position is based in the CDO AI Services team. The AI Infrastructure Engineer in the CDO AI Services works in close cooperation with the AI Platform team, Domain Architect, and Lead Engineer.
