Software Engineering Internship: Improve Customer Support Connect Tool

Introduction

ASML is dedicated to providing top-notch customer support solutions. Our ACDC platform is a vital tool for our Customer Support (CS) organization, enabling employees to easily look up and connect with their colleagues and counterparts. We are looking for a passionate and skilled software engineering intern to help us enhance the functionality of this platform and promote its use within the sector. As an intern, you will get the chance to work in a collaborative work environment and an opportunity to make an impact on a key tool within our organization.
 

Your Assignment

You will focus on the following key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a engineering team to identify and implement new features that improve the ACDC platform's functionality;

• Conduct database maintenance to ensure data integrity and optimize performance;

• Develop and execute strategies to promote the ACDC platform within the CS organization, increasing user engagement and community growth;

• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise;

• Document your work and provide regular updates to the team and user community.
   

This is a Bachelor/Master/HBO apprentice internship for at least 4 months for 5 days a week (4 days onsite). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.
 

Your profile

To be a fit this assignment, you:

• Are a Bachelor/Master/HBO student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar;

• Have a strong understanding of database management and maintenance;

• Have knowledge of front-end user interface;

• Have affinity with problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

• Are outgoing, proactive, well-organized, stress resilient;

• Have great communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
   

Other requirements you need to meet

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

• You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
