As a Test Engineer Digital Platform – VCP Infrastructure, you play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of ASML’s virtual compute platform (VCP). This platform supports advanced analytics applications that help semiconductor manufacturers like TSMC, Samsung, and Intel optimize their production processes in real time.
Your work directly contributes to ASML’s mission to push the boundaries of technology and enable smarter, faster, and more energy-efficient chips. By developing and executing robust testing strategies, you help safeguard the performance of a platform that is critical to our customers’ success.
Role and responsibilities
As a Test Engineer Digital Platform – VCP Infrastructure, you will work in a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions. You will help define the test approach, automate test execution, and ensure traceability from requirements to results.
Your responsibilities include:
- Design and maintain test specifications and automation frameworks.
- Execute automated and manual tests across the product stack.
- Perform fault analysis and root cause investigations.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to align on quality goals.
- Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Contribute to quality sign-off and release readiness.
- Drive improvements in test practices and tooling.
Education and Experience
You have a strong background in software testing and infrastructure engineering. You bring hands-on experience and a proactive mindset to complex testing challenges.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in test engineering, preferably in platform or infrastructure domains.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Pytest and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes architecture, including pods, services, and deployments.
- Knowledge of Helm, Operators, and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
