What is the ASML Junior Academy?

The ASML Junior Academy is a free STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) program launched in 2022 by ASML in collaboration with Mad Science. The goal is to improve the quality and accessibility of STEM education for children. Through the program, we provide fun and engaging technology lessons to all children within a 35-kilometer radius of  Veldhoven, the Netherlands. The ASML Junior Academy is also available in Wilton, United States.

As a global technology innovator, we believe in the importance of STEM education. We want to spark children’s interest and imagination and encourage them on their journey to having meaningful roles in an increasingly digitalized world.

What have we achieved so far?

In 2025, the ASML Junior Academy reached a significant milestone with 500 schools in the Veldhoven region participating in the program. This gives 125,000 children the opportunity to engage with science and technology through hands-on STEM activities.

It brings us closer to our overall goal of reaching approximately 190,000 children in the Netherlands and the US – helping even more young minds discover the possibilities of STEM.
