Job Purpose

The MEP Project Manager is responsible for managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities for large-scale construction and facility development projects.
This role ensures effective coordination across design, construction, commissioning, and stakeholder interfaces to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality facilities.

Key Responsibilities

MEP Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate MEP-related activities across design, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
  • Act as the primary coordination point between internal teams, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment with overall project objectives.

Schedule, Risk & Change Control

  • Support development and execution of MEP schedules aligned with project milestones.
  • Proactively identify and manage technical, schedule, and interface risks.
  • Coordinate technical clarifications and change management to minimize impact on cost and schedule.

Design & Construction Coordination

  • Review MEP designs and shop drawings to ensure constructability, compliance with regulations, and project requirements.
  • Manage interfaces between MEP systems, building works, and utility connections.
  • Support construction execution through timely technical alignment and issue resolution.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

  • Coordinate MEP system testing, commissioning, and readiness for handover.
  • Support completion of required documentation for authorities, compliance, and operational readiness.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide structured updates on MEP progress, risks, and key issues.
  • Support effective collaboration across multidisciplinary project teams.
