Job Mission
As an application engineer in the field, you will partner with customer to develop timely, innovative and tailored metrology performance solutions, to maximize the wafer yield and metrology capabilities. You will drive and qualify ASML solutions by championing customer technical and manufacturing requirements across ASML business lines. With the team, your deliveries create customer value from technology development to high performance manufacturing.
Provide Customer Application Support and on metrology products, proactively enable business development and drive customer adoption of ASML’s tailored portfolio of sustainable products and services by applying industry product and process knowledge in a collaborative learning environment.
Job Description
Customer Application & Escalation Support
Tackle the metrology performance’s escalation which beyond ATP spec. Figure out the solution for customer process request to run production smoothly.
Execute tool matching and qualification in customer FAB and be responsible for recipe build up and optimization
Technical problem-solving by using defined methodologies or brainstorm innovative solutions with different internal stakeholders to drive action plan under time-pressure
Act as customer interface for technical communication via meeting, mail and prepare regular technical report to customer
New product Evaluation
In charge of in-FAB beta test and qualification in customer site for New Platform or New Application function’s evaluation and adoption
Deliver solid metrology project results within agreed timelines by working closely with customers, peers, and cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with D&E teams to create new metrology technologies that meet customer requirements.
Continuously acquire new knowledge on new platform, option and lead technical discussions during product penetration
Education
Master degree at Physic / Chemical / Mechanical / Science engineering related background
Experience
Experience of 3–5 years in the semiconductor industry
Familiar with front-end process knowledge, Lithography, Metrology or Inspection field is a plus.
Must be willing to work in semiconductor clean room environment. Clean room experience is a plus.
Customer facing technical role experience is a plus.
Personal Skills
Strong communication skills; able to defend viewpoints and handle confrontation when necessary.
Assertive and willing to make decisions and take responsibility.
Coding skills (MATLAB, Python) are a plus.
Excellent English communication, presentation, and reporting skills
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
