Introduction to the job
Provides administrative duties and analyses in support of activities related to the shipping of spare parts, mainly throughout Taiwan local
warehouses and end customers, as well as the return of used (spare) parts
Role and responsibilities
Works cross-functionally with Regional Logistics, Field Service Team, Account management, Finance, Spares Planning, Shipping and Global
Trade Solutions to resolve logistics issues associated with demand, quality or delivery
• Creates manuals and procedures for current day-to-day processes performed by Regional Logistics
Frequently interacts with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers ensuring that spare part shipments of parts is accurately being
performed and analyzes their performances
• Takes care of inventory control, parts availability and stock reconciliation
Executes allocation decisions regarding critical tools, service parts, and upgrade deliveries to best meet service requirements,
revenue goals, and regional stocking needs.
• Performs a back-up function for colleagues at the logistics department, mainly for continuity in the parts ordering and shipping
process including spare parts deliveries to end customers (billable and non-billable), RMA returns from the customers back to
manufacturing and inbound transactions
• Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
• Analyzes metrics reporting of regional activity and suggests solutions for improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and experience
• Bachelor level or Master education in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Oracle and Business Objects experience is preferred
• Broad experience or knowledge of freight, transportation and logistics industry
• Experience in, or knowledge of, the semiconductor industry is a plus
Skills
• Strong English communication skills (written and oral).
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office programs
• High level of accuracy, maintaining an organized work structure
• Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
• Strong communicator with customer service knowledge, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Showing initiative and drive
• Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents and create work processes based on this.
Other information
