At our Berlin location, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of the Business Planning department, you will join a team that connects people, data, and visions to tackle complex challenges with foresight and precision. Your Responsibilities

As a Factory Planning Engineer, you will help shape the future of the entire ASML Berlin site with foresight and a pragmatic approach. You will combine technical know‑how of equipment, processes, and space requirements with project management skills and take responsibility for facility and space planning. Your interfaces include Operations, Engineering, and Corporate Real Estate.
Your mission: to optimally design manufacturing and laboratory areas.

Your main tasks

• You plan expansions and redesigns of work areas or entire production buildings in detail and develop creative, goal‑oriented, and efficient solutions.
• You further develop methodologies, standardize processes, and implement best practices.
• You collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and are well connected within the global competence network.
• You prepare and present decision documents and KPIs for different stakeholders.

Your Qualifications

• You hold a successfully completed technical degree, ideally with a focus on production, factory planning, or related fields.
• You have experience in a manufacturing environment and ideally understand the typical challenges of production planning.
• You bring methodological expertise and apply it in a targeted manner, for example from Lean Management.
• You have experience leading projects and working with different stakeholders — you know how to request information effectively, bring together diverse perspectives, and create joint solutions.
• You speak German and English fluently.
• You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and ideally have experience with specialized planning tools and CAD applications.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Factory Planning Engineer gestaltest Du mit Weitblick und pragmatischer Herangehensweise die Zukunft des gesamten Standortes bei ASML Berlin. Du kombinierst technisches Know-how von Anlagen, Prozessen und Raumanforderungen mit Projektmanagement-Kompetenz und übernimmst unter anderem Verantwortung für die Flächenplanung. Deine Schnittstellen sind Bereiche in Operations, Engineering und Corporate Real Estate.

Dein Ziel: Fertigungs- und Laborbereiche optimal gestalten. 

Deine Aufgaben im Überblick:

• Du planst detailliert Erweiterungen und Umgestaltungen von Arbeitsbereichen oder ganzen Fertigungsgebäuden und erarbeitest zielorientiert und effizient kreative Lösungen.
• Du entwickelst Methoden weiter, standardisierst Abläufe und implementierst Best Practices.
• Du arbeitest eng mit interdisziplinären Teams zusammen und bist im globalen Competence Network gut vernetzt.
• Du erstellst und präsentierst Entscheidungsvorlagen und KPIs für verschiedene Zielgruppen. 

Deine Qualifikationen

• Du hast ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes technisches Studium und bringst idealerweise einen Schwerpunkt in Produktion, Fabrikplanung oder verwandten Bereichen mit.
• Du verfügst über Erfahrungen im Produktionsumfeld und kennst idealerweise die typischen Herausforderungen der Fertigungsplanung.
• Du bringst Methodenkenntnisse mit und setzt diese zielgerichtet ein, beispielsweise aus dem Lean Management.
• Du hast Erfahrung in der Leitung von Projekten und im Umgang mit verschiedenen Stakeholdern – du verstehst es, gezielt Informationen einzufordern, unterschiedliche Perspektiven zusammenzubringen und gemeinsame Lösungen zu schaffen.
• Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und Englisch.  
• Du bist sicher im Umgang mit MS Office, insbesondere Excel und bringst idealerweise Erfahrung mit fachspezifischen Planungstools und CAD Anwendungen mit.

• Du arbeitest selbstständig und übernimmst Verantwortung für Deine Projekte. 
• Du handelst proaktiv und treibst Themen eigenständig voran. 
• Du bist teamorientiert und förderst bereichsübergreifende Zusammenarbeit. 
• Du bleibst auch in dynamischen Situationen fokussiert und entscheidungsstark.
