Your Work Environment

As an IT Operations Manager, you will take on a key role in ensuring and further developing our local IT infrastructure. In this responsible position, you lead the entire IT Operations area, manage the reliable operation of our network and server landscapes as well as our data centers, and guarantee high availability. At the same time, you actively drive the evolution of our IT architecture and lead a dedicated team that ensures the smooth technical operations of our company.
 

Your Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the team with an appreciative and inclusive leadership style
• Operating, maintaining, and continuously optimizing the IT infrastructure
• Ensuring the availability of networks, server environments, and data centers
• Monitoring and managing key security processes, including firewalls and access controls
• Responsibility for installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software
• Analyzing system performance and implementing targeted improvements
• Ensuring data protection in accordance with GDPR and internal guidelines
• Budget control for IT infrastructure systems
• Managing contracts and licenses as well as coordinating external service providers
• Close collaboration with global IT teams to comply with worldwide ASML standards, strategies, and infrastructure initiatives
• Developing IT policies and standards and aligning them with the global ASML organization
• Mentoring the team and supporting the development of technical solutions

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in IT Operations, ideally in a leadership role
• Solid knowledge of data center infrastructures (servers, storage, networks, security, cloud)
• Experience in the installation, configuration, and analysis of IT systems
• Strong knowledge of data protection processes and GDPR requirements
• Strong, fluent communication skills in both German and English

Als IT Operations Manager:in übernimmst du eine Schlüsselrolle in der Sicherstellung und Weiterentwicklung unserer lokalen IT‑Infrastruktur. In dieser verantwortungsvollen Position leitest du den gesamten IT‑Operations‑Bereich, steuerst den zuverlässigen Betrieb unserer Netzwerk‑ und Serverlandschaften sowie der Rechenzentren und gewährleistest deren hohe Verfügbarkeit. Gleichzeitig treibst du die Weiterentwicklung unserer IT‑Architektur aktiv voran und führst ein engagiertes Team, das den reibungslosen technischen Betrieb unseres Unternehmens sicherstellt.
 

Deine Aufgaben:

• Führung und Weiterentwicklung des Teams mit einem wertschätzenden und inklusiven Führungsstil
• Betrieb, Wartung und kontinuierliche Optimierung der IT‑Infrastruktur
• Sicherstellung der Verfügbarkeit von Netzwerken, Serverumgebungen und Rechenzentren
• Monitoring und Steuerung zentraler Sicherheitsprozesse, einschließlich Firewalls und Zugriffskontrollen
• Verantwortung für Installationen, Upgrades und Konfigurationen von Hard‑ und Software
• Analyse der Systemleistung und Umsetzung geeigneter Verbesserungsmaßnahmen
• Gewährleistung des Datenschutzes gemäß DSGVO und internen Richtlinien
• Budgetkontrolle für IT‑Infrastruktursysteme
• Verwaltung von Verträgen und Lizenzen sowie Steuerung externer Dienstleister
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit globalen IT‑Teams zur Einhaltung weltweiter Standards, Strategien und Infrastrukturinitiativen von ASML
• Entwicklung von IT‑Richtlinien und ‑Standards sowie Abstimmung mit dem globalen ASML‑Konzern
• Mentoring des Teams und Begleitung bei der Entwicklung technischer Lösungen

Deine Qualifikationen:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich IT Operations, idealerweise in einer Führungsfunktion
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Data‑Center‑Infrastrukturen (Server, Storage, Netzwerk, Sicherheit, Cloud)
• Erfahrung in Installation, Konfiguration und Analyse von IT‑Systemen
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Datenschutzprozessen sowie der DSGVO
• Sichere und fließende Kommunikationsfähigkeit in Deutsch und Englisch

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
