Market Research Internship

Introduction

• Location: Shanghai

• Internship duration: Starting anytime for at least 6 months

• Work arrangement: At least 2-3 days per week

Your assignment

• Systematically collect, structure, and summarize external information related to China’s semiconductor and technology ecosystem

• Prepare structured summaries of publicly disclosed earnings materials of ecosystem companies, highlighting key messages, data points, and China‑relevant implications using predefined templates and AI tools

• Support the production of regular market newsletters by continuously scanning external sources and curating relevant insights

• Review externally sourced industry databases and prepare a weekly digest of China‑relevant insights

• Conduct AI‑enabled desktop research on specific market, industry, or macro topics 

Your profile

• Year 3/4 undergraduate or Master’s student in engineering, microelectronics, data science, finance, economics, or other STEM / quantitative‑related disciplines

• Strong analytical mindset; able to process large volumes of information with attention to detail

• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate information synthesis with structured templates

• Strong interest in business, technology and the semiconductor industry

• Prior exposure to equity research, consulting, strategy, or market research is a plus
