Introduction
Do you want to work on the most advanced technology in the world? At ASML, we design and build machines that enable the future of the semiconductor industry. Within the EUV Factory (EF) Manufacturing department, we are responsible for the production and installation of scanners for EUV systems. The System Build team plays a critical role in assembling and qualifying our scanners.
We are currently looking for a System Build Engineer focused on the Build phase of the process.
Your Role
As a System Build Engineer, you will assemble, adjust, and qualify high-tech systems according to strict specifications and cycle times. You will work in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to achieving our ambitious production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly: Build, install, and align parts and modules for the Scanner in a safe way.
Qualification: Test and verify systems built by the System Build team.
Ensure a safe and orderly workplace, including adherence to all safety procedures.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and/or deviations to ensure quality and meet deadlines.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest product and process improvements and support the introduction of new products.
Communication: Report progress, escalate issues, and keep stakeholders informed.
Knowledge Sharing: Acquire and share knowledge, and train colleagues.
What You Bring
Education and experience:
MBO 4 or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.
Applicants with a vocational qualification (MBO, minimum level 3) combined with a 2- 3 years of relevant practical experience are also encouraged to apply.
Hands-on experience in a high-tech production or customer service environment is essential.
Strong affinity with system assembly, testing and troubleshooting.
Experience with both coarse and fine mechanics is preferred.

Other information
For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 52,500 euro and 59,000 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment and is based on a full-time contract. Company profit sharing is not included in this range. As this is a shift-based position you will receive a shift allowance on top of the indicated salary range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
