We are looking for a communications professional who is capable of turning technology and business into compelling stories to keep our internal and external audiences informed and engaged in a fast-paced setting.

As a Senior Communications Specialist, you own the end-to-end process of designing and planning effective employee communications and creating compelling stories to keep audiences engaged through our channels.
You will be responsible for building local narratives that are based on corporate narratives with highlighting regional success stories as proof points for the internal and external audience.
This is an ideal position for a seasoned communications specialist who seeks a broad spectrum of challenges and enjoys hands-on communications work to make a positive impact on employees and potential employees. Fluency in written and spoken English and Korean is essential. High affinity for technology is a definite plus.
Job Description
You will be part of the Asia Communications team and report to the Korea Communications Line Manager to deliver effective internal communications to all ASML Korea employees, helping them achieve business objectives, and to increase external audiences’ understanding of ASML and its businesses.
Working closely with Communications colleagues in Korea, and with teams across Asia and the global organization, you will bring local knowledge, contacts, and expertise to global projects and help implement global communications initiatives in ASML Korea.
Your role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Reinforcing strategic alignment and stakeholder trust by enabling leadership communication: Collaborate with business leaders, as well as employee groups, to create engaging messages and drive participation. Anticipate potential issues and involve leadership early for issue management and communications.
- Strengthening employee belonging and promote ASML’s technology and People stories on social media: Working with Brand colleagues, deliver consistent brand experience to existing and potential employees on our social media channels. Reinforce our vision and culture stories in support of our People Strategy both internally and externally.
- Planning and execution: Initiate internal communications strategy and an annual plan and implement activities to enhance employee and leadership engagement. Plan and organize leadership engagement meetings, as well as company-wide all-employee meetings. Focus on value-adding activities.
- Content creation: Use clear language and messages that resonate to help stakeholders communicate effectively. Produce and edit internal news, announcements, copy, and social media posts. Lead video projects by creating briefs, storyboarding and refining core messages, organizing shoots, and guiding editing for successful contents and other corporate initiatives.
- Channel management: Collaborating with Internal Communications Specialist, maintain and optimize a portfolio of internal communication channels (ASML TV, Intranet, Corporate Email, SharePoint, etc.) aimed at providing timely and relevant internal news to our employees in Korea.
- Change management: Provide communication support to help stakeholders drive internal engagement and changes with desired positive impact. On major projects, design and execute effective change management communications.
- Support local/global projects: Customize and implement local/global communications initiatives and events for all ASML sites in Korea. Work collaboratively with Communications business partners in Korea, Asia and the headquarters.

- Exceptional writing & presentation skills: Excellent command of writing and communication skills in English and Korean is essential; clear, concise and professional in style. Adjusts communication content and style to the audience and a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Project management: Proven ability to create communication plans that can adapt to changes in business priorities, timelines, scope, or resources; build measurement into plans; and monitor, track, and report progress.
- Channel management: Hands-on multi-channel experience (SharePoint, Teams, TV…), activated for optimum reach to targeted audiences.
- Alignment and agility: Aligns communication plans with business priorities. Translates measurement data into clearly contextualized conclusions and reports.
- Creative problem-solving: Able to build strong relationships and networks and effectively engage and manage stakeholders including the ability to drive, convince and influence others.
- Results-driven: Demonstrates ownership and accountability and delivers on commitments with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal influence: builds trust and rapport with communications colleagues and stakeholders; pursues goals in constructive and assertive way; explores potential solutions during disagreements and searches for the win-win.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above in Journalism, Communications, Business or other relevant fields.
Experience
- 11–15 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, journalism, equivalent experience at a PR agency. Experience as an international journalist preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency of English writing and speaking in a business environment.
- Knowledge of internal communication channels and appreciation of their effectiveness are a plus.
