Context
Support the Indirect Procurement activities for ASML Japan, with high integrity. The main focus is to sustain business growth and achieve commercial goals, which are aligned within ASML HQ SS&P organization and ASML key stakeholders worldwide.
Requirements
Bachelor or Master-degree in a relevant area (e.g. Business Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, combined with Procurement related courses)
Responsibilities
The responsibility will be in wide range, across all the global and local categories (e.g. professional services, facility management, E,R&D (design outsourcing), logistics, IT, etc.). Represents the Indirect Procurement organization and helps assuring the realization of strategic, tactical and operational goals from the procurement category management. Also, well connection to both local and global stakeholders is essential to drive clear demand requirements and achieve common goals.
Enhancement of Indirect Procurement performance in various supply markets in Japan.
- Drive the realization of strategic, tactical and operational Indirect Procurement goals in the dynamic Semiconductor market in Japan
- Make sure the local practices with compliance to ASML Indirect Procurement Policy.
- Achieve the agreed Indirect Procurement Dashboard (KPIs) with full personal commitment
Category Management / Supplier Relationship Management
- Co-develop and supports the implementation and roll-out of the category strategies on local spend
- Execute strategies of global spend (Logistics / IT / Installation Service, etc.) and share market intelligence / lesson learnt to reinforce strategy formulation continuously with Category Managers.
- Safeguard supplier boarding process and build long term relationships with suppliers by using supplier management framework (T/ SBR, Account Plan, etc.)
- Analyze & map timely balance between supplier capacity and market dynamics
- Manage procurement processes and drive for continuous improvements (savings, contract coverage, and buying channels, etc.) with adaption of Supplier Rating methodology (GQLTCS) to allocate business fairly
Stakeholder Management
- Interface with local business stakeholders involve in both global and local spends, as well as other supporting functions like Finance and Legal.
- Hold both regional and global roles to connect to Asia Regional Head, Indirect Procurement Global Sr. Management and Japan Management Team
- Buddy with Indirect Procurement Peers in Asia, US, and NL
Improvement Roadmap to upgrade Indirect Procurement Japan into next phase
- Actively participate Global Improvement Roadmap (Northstar) Projects
- Offer good initiatives on both global and local spends
Skills
Fluent-level proficiency in Japanese and English
Experience
Have at least 10~12 years of work experience in a professional, global, complex matrix, and multi-cultural environment.
Excellent analyst and procurement with proven ability to successfully manage high level, high tech sourcing projects, and bidding processes.
Efficient, structured, accurate and able to maintain overview, assess priorities and focus on concrete results, with value added deliverables, by using Multi-disciplinary approaches
Japanese and English and working experience using both language
