Introduction
The Business Process Management team at ASML supports clear, consistent, and high‑quality ways of working across the company. We work closely with Planning & Delivery and Strategic Sourcing & Procurement to strengthen process adherence and continuous improvement. In this internship you support internal assessments that help teams work more effectively. Your contribution improves transparency, quality, and collaboration in a global, high‑tech environment. This internship is based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands.
Your assignment
During this internship, you will support the coordination and execution of internal business process assessments. You work with process owners, sector teams, and the Business Process Management team. You help ensure processes are clear, up to date, and continuously improved.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Support planning and rollout of internal assessments at procedure and work instruction level.
Prepare assessment materials and coordinate schedules and logistics with involved teams.
Analyze assessment results and support reporting and follow‑up actions.
Maintain documentation and track progress of assessment activities.
Support document portal maintenance, including updates and quality checks.
Contribute to communication and training materials for the business process community.
Identify improvement opportunities and support implementation of agreed actions.
This is a bachelor/masters non-thesis internship for minimum 6 months, minimum 4 days per week (2 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of September 2026.
Your profile
To be suitable for the internship, you:
Are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Organizational Change, or a related field.
Have basic knowledge or coursework in process management, quality, or project coordination.
Are organized and able to manage tasks and information in a structured way.
Communicate clearly and collaborate well in an English-speaking environment.
Are proactive, analytical, and motivated to learn and improve ways of working.
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter needs to include the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
