Introduction to the job

Own end-to-end site UIR execution, ensuring safe, predictable, and high-quality delivery aligned with customer and business targets.

Role and responsibilities

A. Site Operation Ownership

  • Own full site UIR operations (Install / Upgrade / Relocation)
  • Deliver against Safety, Quality, Cost, Cycle Time, and Predictability targets
  • Act as the UIR representative for the site, accountable for execution results

B. Execution & Delivery

  • Lead execution from readiness → installation → closure
  • Drive First-Time-Right and zero-repeat mindset
  • Ensure compliance with standard process and quality expectations
  • Make timely decisions and trigger escalation when needed

C. Resource & Manpower Management

  • Own site manpower allocation (engineers / coordinators / 3rd party)
  • Balance workload across projects and sites
  • Ensure skill readiness and qualification match demand
  • Work closely with planner for resource alignment

D. Stakeholder & Customer Interface

  • Act as single operational contact window (customer / account / internal teams)
  • Manage customer expectations (schedule, CT, readiness)
  • Provide operational input in account discussions
  • Handle major escalations and complaint cases

E. Risk & Escalation Management

  • Lead site-level risk assessment (technical / schedule / readiness)
  • Identify gaps early and drive mitigation actions
  • Escalate when needed and ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Coordinate with EHS, SCM, Planner, and other stakeholders

F. People Leadership

  • Lead and develop team (GLs, engineers, TIC, SAP)
  • Drive skill development, coaching, and OJT
  • Monitor team engagement and well-being
  • Build next-generation leadership pipeline

G. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive KPI performance (Cost / CT / IRR / Customer satisfaction)
  • Lead improvement initiatives (A3, RCA, standardization)
  • Optimize processes and ways of working
  • Ensure continuous improvement within scope

Education and experience

Science and Engineering background

3year + group leaders experience

customer interface experience

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
