Your Work Environment

At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production.

The Factory Planning department is responsible for the planning and design of production and laboratory areas. Its goal is to arrange manufacturing processes, equipment, and workspaces in a way that enables technical requirements, material flows, and production operations to be implemented efficiently.

This includes both the development of new production and laboratory areas as well as the expansion and optimization of existing facilities.

Role and responsibilities

As a Factory Planning Engineer, you will:

• develop and implement CAD-based layout concepts for new work areas as well as the expansion and redesign of existing production and laboratory spaces to enable efficient and stable manufacturing processes.

• gather, analyze, and translate requirements from different departments into practical and implementable space and layout concepts.

• develop layout concepts for production and laboratory areas by converting user requirements, building constraints, infrastructure needs, and space requirements into effective solutions.

• independently coordinate and drive work packages, sub-projects, and planning activities.

• prepare and present layout concepts, decision proposals, and key performance indicators for various stakeholders.

• collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the long-term development of the manufacturing site.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Production Engineering, Factory Planning, or a comparable technical discipline.

• Proven experience in factory planning, layout planning, or space planning within an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, material flows, and technical requirements in industrial production environments.

• Several years of practical experience creating and modifying layout plans using AutoCAD or comparable CAD systems.

• Experience working in projects and coordinating work packages or sub-projects.

• Good written and spoken German and English skills.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Factory Planning Engineer wirst du:

• CAD-gestützte Layoutkonzepte für neue Arbeitsbereiche sowie die Erweiterung und Umgestaltung bestehender Produktions- und Laborflächen entwickeln und realisieren, um effiziente und stabile Produktionsprozesse zu ermöglichen.

• Anforderungen unterschiedlicher Fachbereiche aufnehmen, analysieren und in praktikable sowie umsetzbaren Flächen- und Layoutkonzepte übersetzen.

• Layoutkonzepte für Produktions- und Laborbereiche entwickeln und dabei Anforderungen der Nutzer, Gebäudegegebenheiten sowie Infrastruktur- und Flächenbedarfe in umsetzbare Lösungen übersetzen.

• Teilprojekte, Arbeitspakete und Planungsaktivitäten eigenständig koordinieren und vorantreiben.

• Entscheidungsvorlagen, Layoutkonzepte und Kennzahlen für verschiedene Stakeholder aufbereiten und präsentieren.

• Mit interdisziplinären Teams zusammenarbeiten und zur langfristigen Weiterentwicklung des Produktionsstandortes beitragen.

Deine Qualifikation

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Ingenieurwissenschaften, Produktionstechnik, Fabrikplanung oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Fachrichtung.

• Nachweisbare Erfahrung in der Fabrik-, Layout- oder Flächenplanung innerhalb eines industriellen Produktionsumfelds.

• Kenntnisse von Produktionsprozessen, Materialflüssen und technischen Anforderungen industrieller Fertigungsbereiche.

• Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung in der Erstellung und Anpassung von Layoutplanungen mit AutoCAD oder vergleichbaren CAD-Systemen.

• Erfahrung in der Mitarbeit an Projekten sowie in der Koordination von Arbeitspaketen oder Teilprojekten.

• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
