Introduction to the job

As a Finance Project Manager, you help shape how finance supports one of the world’s most advanced technology companies. Your work enables transparent decision‑making, strong governance, and scalable financial processes that power innovation.

At ASML, we build the technology that enables the world’s leading chipmakers to create smaller, faster, and more energy‑efficient semiconductors. Finance plays a critical role in making this possible. In this Finance Project Manager role, you translate strategy into execution by leading complex finance transformation initiatives with real business impact.

You join ASML in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, working in a global, fast‑moving environment where ideas are challenged, collaboration drives progress, and integrity guides decisions. As a Finance Project Manager, you influence how finance evolves to support long‑term growth, resilience, and responsibility.

Role and responsibilities

As a Finance Project Manager, you lead high‑impact projects that improve how finance operates and delivers value. You work across stakeholders, balance structure with flexibility, and keep teams aligned on shared outcomes.

You will:

  • Translate strategic finance objectives into clear plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate delivery across finance, technology, and business teams worldwide.
  • Drive planning, risk management, dependencies, and milestone tracking.
  • Enable effective governance, decision‑making, and timely escalation.
  • Align solution design, requirements, and adoption across stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted project delivery partner for senior finance leaders.

Education and experience

To succeed as a Finance Project Manager, you bring a strong finance foundation combined with project leadership experience.

You have:

  • At least 8 years of experience delivering complex projects in large, international organizations.
  • Proven experience in finance transformation, process improvement, or major change initiatives.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP and data‑driven reporting tools.
  • A track record of leading cross‑functional teams without formal authority.
  • Strong experience translating evolving requirements into structured, executable plans.
  • Professional fluency in English, written and spoken.

Skills

Working at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that. You won’t work in a silo. Instead, you’ll be part of a creative, dynamic work environment where you’ll collaborate with supportive colleagues. There is always space for creative and unique points of view.
